asking God to do what is impossible for us: to move mountains, to supply our needs, to set the lonely in families, to give them hope & a future
"A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.
God sets the solitary in families;
He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
But the rebellious dwell in a dry land." Psalm 68:5-6 NKJV
"If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." James 1: 26-27 NKJV
"Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy." Proverbs 31:8-9

Children with Albinism...
... are often isolated and ostracized for their differences. In some countries they are believed to have magical powers and may be killed or mutilated for their body parts. Their needs are simple and include a loving family and proper skin and eye care. You can learn more about how to raise a child with albinism at http://www.albinism.org/Raising_a_Child_with_albinism.html. Learn more about the children in these photos and how you can make them a part of your family at http://reecesrainbow.org/?s=albinism. Shane and Wesley, featured in the upper left and lower right pictures, turn 13 this August (no, not twins) and that means they both have just over a year for a family to complete their adoption in their country before they age out and lose their chance for a family. Please share their stories!
